Abstract

This vocabulary specifies terms for use by constrained devices to describe hosted resources, their attributes and other relationships between links.

All terms at a glance

Properties: bn | bt | ct | if | mt | n | op | rt | sz | t | ut | ver

This vocabulary specifies terms for use by constrained devices to describe hosted resources, their attributes and other relationships between links. The semantics of the terms is based on the CoRE Link Format, the CoAP Profile Description Format, the Media Types for Sensor Markup Language (SENML), as well as the Constrained Application Protocol (CoAP).

Properties

Property: corelf:bn

base nameA string that is prepended to the names found in the entries.

URI:
http://purl.org/NET/corelf#bn
Range:
rdfs:Literal

Property: corelf:bt

base timeA base time that is added to the time found in an entry.

URI:
http://purl.org/NET/corelf#bt
Domain:
owl:Thing
Range:
xsd:dateTime

Property: corelf:ct

content typeProvides a hint about the Internet media type(s) the resource returns.

URI:
http://purl.org/NET/corelf#ct
Domain:
owl:Thing
Range:
xsd:unsignedShort

As of the CoAP specification, this attribute provides a hint about the Internet media type(s) the resource returns. This is only a hint, and does not override the Content-type Option of a CoAP response obtained by actually following the link. The value is in the CoAP identifier code format as a decimal ASCII integer and MUST be in the range of 0-65535 (16-bit unsigned integer). See also the CoAP Media Type Registry for initial defined values.

Property: corelf:if

interface descriptionAn opaque string used to provide a name or URI indicating a specific interface definition used to interact with the target resource.

URI:
http://purl.org/NET/corelf#if
Domain:
owl:Thing

As of the CoRE Link Format, this attribute is an opaque string used to provide a name or URI indicating a specific interface definition used to interact with the target resource. One can think of this as describing verbs usable on a resource. It is meant to describe the generic REST interface to interact with a resource or a set of resources.

Property: corelf:mt

supported media typesA list of media type(s) that are supported by a resource.

URI:
http://purl.org/NET/corelf#mt
Domain:
owl:Thing
Range:
rdfs:Literal

As of the CoAP Profile Description Format, this profile field indicates which media-types are supported by a resource. See also the CoAP Media Type Registry for initial defined values.

Property: corelf:n

nameName of the sensor or parameter.

URI:
http://purl.org/NET/corelf#n
Domain:
owl:Thing
Range:
xsd:string

As of the Media Types for Sensor Markup Language, when appended to the Base Name attribute, this must result in a globally unique identifier for the resource. This is a sub-property of ssn:observes.

Property: corelf:op

supported optionsA list of options that are supported by a resource.

URI:
http://purl.org/NET/corelf#op
Domain:
owl:Thing
Range:
rdfs:Literal

As of the CoAP Profile Description Format, this profile field contains a list of options that are supported by a resource. See also the Option Number Registry for initial defined values.

Property: corelf:rt

resource typeAn opaque string used to assign an application specific semantic type to a resource.

URI:
http://purl.org/NET/corelf#rt
Domain:
owl:Thing

As of the CoRE Link Format, this attribute is an opaque string used to assign an application specific semantic type to a resource. One can think of this as a noun describing the resource. In the case of a temperature resource this could be e.g. an application-specific semantic type like "outdoor-temperature" or a URI referencing a specific concept in an ontology.

Property: corelf:sz

maximum sizeGives an indication of the maximum size of the resource representation returned by performing a GET on the target URI.

URI:
http://purl.org/NET/corelf#sz
Domain:
prv:DataItem
Range:
rdfs:Literal

As of the CoRE Link Format, this attribute gives an indication of the maximum size of the resource representation returned by performing a GET on the target URI. For links to CoAP resources this attribute is not expected to be included for small resources that can comfortably be carried in a single Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU), but should be included for resources larger than that.

Property: corelf:t

timeTime when value was recorded.

URI:
http://purl.org/NET/corelf#t
Domain:
owl:Thing
Range:
xsd:dateTime

Property: corelf:ut

update timeA time in seconds that represents the maximum time before this sensor will provide an updated reading for a measurement.

URI:
http://purl.org/NET/corelf#ut
Domain:
owl:Thing
Range:
xsd:time

As of the Media Types for Sensor Markup Language, this can be used to detect the failure of sensors or communications path from the sensor.

Property: corelf:ver

versionVersion number of media type format.

URI:
http://purl.org/NET/corelf#ver
Range:
xsd:string
