### Abstract

SCOVO Link allows the grounding of SCOVO entities in existing vocabularies. Authors are: Denny Vrandecic, Christoph Lange, Michael Hausenblas, Jie Bao and Li Ding.

A number of governments are starting to publish their statistical data online as Linked Data, using lightweight RDF vocabularies, such as SCOVO. The semantics of the statistical data points, such as real-world concepts they describe, is typically not explicit in these representations. We propose to make the semantics explicit by grounding the statistical data in existing vocabularies for real-world concepts and mathematical functions. This enables the integration with computation infrastructure and fosters easy access to the enhanced expressivity in Wiki collaboration environments where the statistical vocabularies are developed.
